mccPILOTLOG serves as a mobile companion to the primary PC software, enabling pilots to log flights while away from their home base. This app caters to a diverse range of pilots, from those commanding Boeing 787s to Piper 28 Cherokees or helicopters servicing oil rigs.
It provides features such as displaying local time, DST rules, sunrise/sunset data, a globe view for over 40,000 airfields included in its database, access to METAR/TAF weather reports, mapping capabilities for any airfield, and the ability to calculate distances between two airfields.
mccPILOTLOG for iOS operates offline, eliminating the need for a continuous internet connection. Users can seamlessly transfer flight records to the main PC database via home or hotel wifi or 3G network without the hassle of cables or special drivers.
It's important to note that while the mobile app enhances the flight logging experience, it is designed as a supplementary tool to the main PC program and should not be relied upon as a standalone logbook application.
The comprehensive mccPILOTLOG logbook software is designed for MS Windows computers and is also compatible with Mac OS through Parallels Desktop or Bootcamp. This software can link with airline crew web portals like AIMS eCrews, Sabre FLiCA, Sabre CrewTrac, and more to sync planned flight rosters with the iOS app. Additionally, it offers printing capabilities for over 80 report types and supports around 30 EASA/FAA logbook formats.
